Brian O'Rourke, CKD:
TheKitchenPond, Inc. was founded in December of 2000, by Brian O'Rourke, CKD, with the intention of improving communications "From the Customer to the Craftsman".  

This vision was derived through Brian's vast experience in the Kitchen and Bath Industry.  From his formal training at Arizona State University in Architecture, to his years of "hands on" kitchen design experience culminating with his CKD.  Using that experience, Brian joined an international K&B Industry software firm where he learned the craft of programming.  Taking this to another level,  in July of 1999, Brian was asked by leadership of Classic Kitchens, LLC (parent company of Heritage, Rutt and St. Charles) to join their team in directing the ongoing management, development, implementation and training for each company.  This promotion was gladly accepted and dutifully carried out until departing in December of 2000 to start TheKitchenPond. 

Brian's primary role is to assist our manufacturing customers with the implementation of our software.  This is a major undertaking for a company and involves many different and varied resources.  Brian has the knowledge, both from the dealers' perspective as well as the manufacturers', to see both sides and guide them step-by-step with their software project.  As many of these projects go on for years, Brian is blessed with meeting great people and establishing life-long relationships with our customers.  He feels this is one the great perks of his job!

Kerry Francis:
For many years, Kerry has dreamed of supplying the high-end custom cabinet maker software solutions that could handle their complex and unique products.  Kerry has joined TheKitchenPond to fulfill this dream and create high quality software for these manufacturers. 

Kerry's vision started many years back when building cabinets for a custom cabinet maker in Florida.  He quickly found his calling in software and turned his attention to writing CNC and order entry software.  This fascinated Kerry and brought him to Colorado to work for CADKIT, where he met Brian.  Kerry developed pricing and manufacturing software for many custom cabinet makers during his years in Colorado.  Kerry left CADKIT and started his own software company to provide software to the Classic Kitchens group in Lancaster County, PA.  Kerry's AdGen project yielded rave reviews by both designers and manufacturing staff and, in fact, is still in use today! 

Kerry is our lead programmer and is forging ahead with his dream through the development of our order entry, editing, catalog creation and bill of materials software.
